FAQs

  • I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology in 2022. I am also a member of the Center for Object Relations in Seattle, where I continue advanced coursework in psychoanalytic theory and practice. In addition, I receive ongoing clinical supervision with Sean Jackson, LMHC, to ensure that my work remains thoughtful, ethical, and grounded in best practices.

  • My first love is working with children of all ages, and I especially enjoy supporting parents in better understanding and connecting with their children. At the same time, I also work with adults who are ready to take a deeper look at themselves and their lives. Whether I am working with a child, a parent, or an individual adult, my focus is on creating a safe and supportive space where growth, clarity, and healing can unfold.

  • My fee is $145 for a 50-minute session, with a limited number of sliding-scale spots available upon request. Payment is due at the time of each session, and I accept all major credit and debit cards. Therapy is most effective when supported by consistency and rhythm, so I recommend beginning with weekly sessions and adjusting as needed over time. Because your session time is reserved just for you, payment is expected for all scheduled appointments; you may miss up to two sessions per year without charge if you provide at least 24 hours’ notice, but additional missed sessions will be billed in full. If you let me know in advance that you’ll be away, I’ll do my best to offer a rescheduled slot within the same week, though availability is not guaranteed. You will never be charged for sessions I need to cancel due to illness or previously scheduled time off.

  • It truly depends on the individual and what brings them to therapy. Some people find relief and new insights within the first few sessions simply from having their story heard and reflected back. Others may come for a few months to work through a specific challenge, while some engage in longer-term therapy—sometimes over years—to address deeper patterns or heal from trauma.

  • Most clients begin with weekly sessions, which helps create momentum and lasting change. For those wanting more intensive work, I also see clients multiple times per week—up to four sessions. I don’t offer less than weekly sessions, as consistency is essential for meaningful progress.

  • That’s such an important question. Often, you’ll get a sense of fit within the first one or two sessions. You’re also welcome to reach out for a brief phone call before scheduling, so we can talk about your goals and my approach.

  • The best way to reach me is by email (I’ll be setting up a new Gmail address soon), or through the contact form on this site. I’m also available by phone at (720) 987-8829.
I currently offer afternoon, after-school, and evening sessions to best support children, parents, and working adults.
